Kym
Shurbutt, better known as Bogie, was an original cast member, and
has been with The Carolina Opry since it premiered in Surfside Beach
on May 2, 1986, and through The Carolina Opry's move into its new
2,200-seat show place in Myrtle Beach in 1992. Today, he continues
to regale audiences nightly at the packed theater.

their cheeks! Known primarily for his goofy antics as Bogie, Kym
